Approved Subjects

ACT Math

ACT Math

I have 3.5 years experience helping students study mathematics for their classes, but occasionally I would get college students who plan to take the GRE general test. I have gathered some resources to help them out, but I would love to create a prep course for the GRE. I do focus mostly on the mathematics, but I am more than willing to help with the reading comprehension and writing too. I also am comfortable with most of the hard sciences like physics and chemistry too.
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have a bachelor's of science in general mathematics and some graduate coursework completed in secondary mathematics education. I was once certified to teach (since expired) and I have two years of experience teaching or in math support roles for 2 years. I also have been tutoring College Algebra at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime at my local university.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have a bachelor's of science in general mathematics and some graduate coursework completed in secondary mathematics education. I was once certified to teach (since expired) and I have two years of experience teaching or in math support roles for 2 years. I also have been tutoring College Algebra at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime at my local university.
Calculus

Calculus

I have a bachelor's of science in general mathematics and some graduate coursework completed in secondary mathematics education. I was once certified to teach (since expired) and I have 2 years of experience teaching or in math support role. I also have been tutoring differential calculus, integral calculus, and business calculus at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime at my local university. I have also tutored the occasional multivariate calculus student and differential equations student.
Data Analysis

Data Analysis

I have a minor in statistics where I took AP Statistics, Elementary Statistics, Probability and Statistics, Stochastic Processes, and Multivariable Statistics. I am most familiar with the programing languages Python, R, and MATLAB, in that order. I have also been tutoring for Elementary statistics at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime.
Data Science

Data Science

I have a minor in statistics where I took AP Statistics, Elementary Statistics, Probability and Statistics, Stochastic Processes, and Multivariable Statistics. I am most familiar with the programing languages Python, R, and MATLAB, in that order. I have also been tutoring for Elementary statistics at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime.
Discrete Math

Discrete Math

My major specific GPA in college was a 4.0 and I took mostly discrete math classes for my degree. I loved abstract algebra, but I also took combinatorics, graph theory, number theory, intro to discrete, and intro to mathematical proofs.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I have 3.5 years of tutoring professionally at the collegiate level, plus 2 years working in 6-12. My plan for any elementary school kids would be to use ALEKS as my assessment tool to make sure we are going over the appropriate materials and to keep track of the student's progress. I have also been trained on how to use manipulatives in my instruction, and I know how to break down concepts through my years of tutoring.
Finite Math

Finite Math

I have a B.s. in general mathematics where I mainly focused on proofs classes and discrete math. I took Intro to Proofs, discrete math, number theory, graph theory I & II, Abstract Algebra I & II, and Formal Geometry. I have also been tutoring at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime, and I have had some discrete students as well as the occasional abstract algebra student.
GED

GED

I have a bachelor's of science in general mathematics and some graduate coursework completed in secondary mathematics education. I was once certified to teach (since expired) and I have 2 years of experience teaching or in math support role. I also have been tutoring at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime at my local university. I do more than just math and science, though. I was a straight A student with great marks on my papers.
Geometry

Geometry

I have a bachelor's of science in general mathematics and some graduate coursework completed in secondary mathematics education. I was once certified to teach (since expired) and I have two years of experience teaching or in math support roles for 2 years. I also have been tutoring at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime at my local university. I have also taken formal geometry, and I am familiar with geometric proofs.
Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

I have a in mathematics where I took Linear Algebra. I also took Linear Algebra at the graduate level while pursuing a masters in teaching. I am most familiar with the theoretical side of linear algebra, not so much with the applications. I still have my textbook as a reference, and with some planning, I could definitely help anyone with the class. I have also been tutoring for 3.5 years fulltime and I have had a couple of linear algebra students stop by occasionally.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

I have a B.s. in general mathematics. I have also been tutoring Mathematical Models and Quantitative Skills & Reasoning at my local university, fulltime for 3.5 years. We se a lot of these students, and most of what they cover is what I have seen in Prealgebra (8th grade math). I have also been a teacher intern in an 8th grade classroom for a semester, and I worked at a paraprofessional (teachers assistant) doing math support at a middle school for a year, bringing my experience to a total of 5 years.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I have a bachelor's of science in general mathematics and some graduate coursework completed in secondary mathematics education. I was once certified to teach (since expired) and I have two years of experience teaching or in math support roles for 2 years. I also have been tutoring Precalculus at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime at my local university.
Probability

Probability

I have a minor in statistics where I took AP Statistics, Elementary Statistics, Probability and Statistics, Stochastic Processes, and Multivariable Statistics, all containing some amount of probability theory. I have also been tutoring at the collegiate level for 3.5 years fulltime where I would occasionally see students (mostly from genetics classes) who need a refresher on probability.
