I connect really well with students of all ages and tend to build solid rapport. I love working one- on- one with kids because you get to build a relationship of trust and confidence so much easier.

I can tutor any subject up to 6th grade. From there, I have all my brain knowledge packed into science. I especially love and understand Chemistry, Physical Science, Earth Science and Environmental Science. I can help with any of the Biologies if needed.
I love working with all ages, but I do tend to build a special bond with middle school and high school students.
My favorites in elementary are math and science.

I have been in education for about ten years in lots of different capacities, as a teacher of many grades and subjects, as well as a paraprofessional working one-on-one with students who are struggling. I started with a culinary and hospitality degree, and then went back to get two different teaching certificates, one K-6 and one in General Science 7-12.

I love teaching with examples from the real world, analogies, and visuals. I'm a big picture drawer, even though I'm not the best artist. I like to show you how to do something, work through it with you, and then let you practice. I like to have fun, be a tad sarcastic, and try to ease the stress out of situations. I have a son who is dyslexic and has ADD, one who is a powerhouse, and one who hated school, so I've done it all.
