I have loved history ever since I was young. History is what connects the world together, and what makes mankind so interesting. I want to spread my love of history to as many people as possible! I have tutored at the University of Wyoming for one year, teaching history and writing skills to peers of all ages and levels. I am considered very friendly and helpful, and I believe that taking the time to understand a student's needs is the difference between a successful tutoring session and an unsuccessful one. I take my time with each student and really help them understand the causes and effects of what they are learning, not just memorizing dates and people. Understanding the material is most important. I love watching students grow and understand the material, but most of all I love watching students succeed and take their newfound knowledge with them!
I have a love of reading and writing, and exploring the world of English and Literature is one of my favorite things to teach! I have read many books and seek to help students understand the key concepts, motifs, character development, and plot points of the books and articles they read.

In studying art history, one can learn to recognize paintings, architecture, and constructed art as a source of history. Once the basics of art and art history are known, you can see its influence everywhere you look! Art history is a skill and course that will stick with a student for their entire lives, and it is my favorite type of history to share!

I have a great memory which helps keep everything chronological, and I can also
