I am considered very friendly and helpful, and I believe that taking the time to understand a student's needs is the difference between a successful tutoring session and an unsuccessful one. I take my time with each student and really help them understand the causes and effects of what they are learning, not just memorizing dates and people. Understanding the material is most important. I love watching students grow and understand the material, but most of all I love watching students succeed and take their newfound knowledge with them!

Art is a fantastic way to understand history, as it is a literal portrait of what was going on at the time. In studying art history, one can learn to recognize paintings, architecture, and constructed art as a source of history. Once the basics of art and art history are known, you can see its influence everywhere you look! Art history is a skill and course that will stick with a student for their entire lives, and it is my favorite type of history to share!
