Hi, I'm Margaurite! I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Wyoming with a dual degree in Psychology and Forensic Anthropology. It didn't take long before I was back in school though, following my true passion in teaching. I recieved my Post Bachelor's degree from Western Governor's University in elementary education. Since then, I have finished a Masters degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Special Education.
I taught at the elementary level for 5 years before switching over to Special Education. I taught elementary Special Education for 1 year before moving to the high school to help students in the special education program there. I have taught at the high school level for 3 years and my current focus is on lower level high school math.
I am able to teach math in different ways than traditional math teachers. I can help provide unique examples and practice problems that can help even the largest struggling math student understand the subject.
I have an exceptional liking for science and everything related to it. Because of this, my elementary students always excelled in their science curriculum. I have a way of taking science and finding all the fun sides to it in order to help students find it interesting.
I have a massive amount of knowledge I would be happy to share. If you struggle with understanding certain subjects or just with understanding the way your teacher is teaching you, please contact me. I would be happy to fill any gaps you may have.
