My name is Helen and I have a degree in Spanish language and literature from Ohio Northern University. I also have hands on experience with French language and culture although no professional training per se. I am also a certified ESL instructor and have taught English to a very close Arab student for years who is now fluent in English due to my help.

In college I had a very good friend who suffered from ADD and ADHD. In my friendship with her I learned quite a bit about this disorder, such as that these people need help and care and treatment. While I have not tutored per se, my friendship with this woman taught me quite a bit about this disorder and I am willing to help children learn to cope with this and also have suggestions on how to help the poor concentration aspect of ADD/ADHD.

I am certified in ESL and have taught ESL in Argentina and also to students in the US.
Religion

Religion

I have long been interested and fascinated by not only my own religion but all other religions on this planet. I consider religion something we cannot get away from and thus I work to help people understand religious differences. My best friend being a Muslim and my own independent studies of both Eastern and Western religion as well as an in depth study of both the history of the Church and the Bible gives me a unique and modern perspective on the religions of this quickly changing world.
