I have approximately nine years of teaching experience in a classroom setting, including eight years at my previous school teaching third grade and my current role the past year and this current school year. Throughout my career, I have worked with students across a wide range of abilities, learning styles, and support needs. My approach centers on building strong relationships, establishing a structured and supportive environment, and using clear, explicit instruction to help students develop confidence and independence as learners.
I regularly implement differentiated instruction, scaffolded learning, and ongoing formative assessment to tailor lessons to each student’s individual needs. In addition to whole-class teaching, I have extensive experience working with students one-on-one and in small groups to reinforce foundational skills, close learning gaps, and provide targeted intervention or enrichment. My experience has primarily taken place in traditional classroom settings, while also including individualized and small-group support designed to meet students where they are and promote both academic growth and self-confidence.
