I have 14 years of classroom experience helping students feel and be successful by building strong foundations in math, including fractions ratios, equations, and pre algebra concepts. I understand that many students struggle with math confidence, so I focus on breaking concepts down into clear, manageable steps and several different wats to solve that make sense to the individual.
In my classroom, I work with a wide range of learners, including students who need extra support with specific foundational skills as well as those looking to strengthen their conceptual understanding. I regularly help students with homework, test preparation, and developing problem-solving strategies they can apply independently and carry into real-life.
My approach is patient, encouraging, and structured so students feel supported while also gaining independence.
I also believe that building confidence is just as important as building skills. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help students not only improve their math performance but to feel more confident and capable in their abilities.
