Hello, everyone! My name is Dom, and I do not know about you, but I love to learn. In areas such as science and math, I believe that the issue is never the student. Any student can learn to be a scientist or mathematician. The issue is the teaching. I am a Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD student in the Geldenhuys and Huber lab that specializes in developing and testing novel therapeutics on neurological insults to the brain as well as disruptions int he blood brain barrier. I have worked in several research labs at Seton Hill University and the University of Pittsburgh where I researched bacteriophages and identified candidates for treatment of antibiotic resistant bacteria. I have tutored dozens of students through Wyzant and my employment as a physics tutor at Seton Hill University. I graduated as the only student from my alma mater Seton Hill with a 4.0 in my major of biology and minor in chemistry.
