My Name Is Holly. I was a substitute teacher for Berkeley County Schools from March 06 until December 2009, at which time I took a full time position with a foster care service agency. I did home bound spec ed tutoring from Feb 2007 until Dec 2009 and found that this was a very rewarding experience. My background was working with children and families through employment with RESA VIII Service agency as a child development specialist in the Birth to Three Program. It was there that I realized I enjoy working in the home with families.
My education was received through Shepherd College with a BA in psychology and I have been employed with Human Service jobs since graduation working with children in need, in temporary emergency care and in the home. I also worked with young adults and older adults in a mental health psycho-social and vocational community agency in Washington County for seven years.
I am now venturing on to be self employed and do individual contracting. I begin a new position soon with one agency to help families with ADL and Parenting skills, receiving referrals from DHHR. I am a hands on "helping" and "caring" individual that seeks the best possible method for reaching goals, my own and for the person that I am assisting.

Good study habits, sleep, exercise, social supports, healthy nutrition and a supportive environment are vital to life and learning.
I have CPR/First Aid Training, and numerous trainings and certifications from pr
