Kristine is a 27-year-old Music Educator who is on the verge of completing her fourth year of teaching music full-time. She has studied percussion in her undergraduate and graduate studies. Kristine is a 27-year-old Music Educator who is on the verge of completing her fourth year of teaching music full-time. She has studied percussion in her undergraduate and graduate studies. While attending Stetson University '10 for her undergraduate studies in music and education, she has played in the Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra and Percussion Ensemble. During her undergraduate education she was a recipient of the William E. Duckwitz Talent Scholarship. Kristine has experience playing in the pit orchestra for several operas/musicals including The Pirates of Penzance, Smetana’s The Bartered Bride, Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Roger & Hammerstein’s Sound of Music.
She has recently earned her Master’s Degree from Florida International University '14 in Music Education where she provided research for her capstone pertaining to utilizing technology in the music classroom. Kristine has taught an array of ensembles including Concert Band, String Ensemble, Full Orchestra, Guitar Ensemble, Vocal Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble. She has taught private instrumental music lessons and music theory lessons for 11+ years.
