I always format my lesson plans based on the needs of the student. I believe that the key to good learning is establishing outcomes and then structuring lesson plans to meet those outcomes. Whether we are working on sentence structure issues (comma splices and run-on sentences) or working on the five-paragraph essay structure (including a thesis statement), all lessons will be written to meet the needs of the student.
In addition to working with native speakers on composition writing, I also have more than 15 years experience in working with students who speak English as a Second Language (ESL). I have taught every subject from reading-vocabulary, speaking-listening and grammar-writing plus I have taught TESOL and TOEIC classes. I work specifically with non-native speakers to create outcomes and lesson plans that will improve their English proficiency.
