Based on initial meeting
Initial meeting went well, I believe. Most importantly, our child was willing and open to receive his knowledge and advise, so that is definitely a positive start. I appreciate the time taken to get to know our child and to attempt to narrow down the type of learner he is. We know our child is smart and with great potential, we are excited to help him feel and prove that he is within the confines of the education system. He deserves opportunities that his challenges can sometimes hinder, temporarily that is. Skies the limit and he has much positive attributes to offer this world.

Knowledgeable tutor
My high school age son has some learning difficulties and Richard is very knowledgeable in this area. During our first session he really took the time to see where my son struggles and helped him understand why he was having certain difficulties. He discussed with my son about what his specific goals are for tutoring and will be tailoring the sessions to help my son improve in areas Richard saw as deficits while helping my son reach his own goals. We are looking forward to working with him!

ADHD skill building
Rick is helping my 14-year-old Stetson Noah learn skills to help him thrive with ADHD. Rick is patient and understanding. He’s making a positive impact on Noah: in their first session he told Noah about the positive aspects of ADHD, which made a major difference in his self perception.

Gets to know the student individually.
We've only had 4 sessions so far, but my daughter is really enjoying Mr. G. She likes how he adapts to her learning style and I like how he is great with communicating with us parents. She is learning new skills and progress is being made already. Very happy so far! We can't wait to see how much she'll learn over the summer.

My daughter enjoys class
My daughter hates learning and doesn’t like tutor sessions. Except for Richard’s. She actually asked to keep taking when I told her if she had mastered a topic she could stop.
