What I love about tutoring the most is helping people. If there is a subject I have experience with, I’ve always been able to help students learn by getting on their level. I love being able to teach in different ways for each student so they are able to learn more efficiently.
When it comes to my TESOL certification, I took a 120 course and was able to learn different techniques to help others grasp the English language. No matter their proficiency with the English language, I’ve always been able to use the techniques I’ve learned from my TESOL certification course to do my absolute best and adapt to each student’s level and keep them interested/engaged.
My history qualifications stem from one of my university majors. I’ve always had an interest in history, no matter if it’s Ancient history, world history, American history, and more. My passion for history started when I was in middle school when I had the most amazing and enthusiastic history teacher. She was the first to inspire me. Now when it comes to government and politics, my interest really peaked in high school when I had to take a basic civics course, but my teacher then made it so engaging and really made me want to learn more and ever since, I always keep up with current politics and continue to study government courses. I’ve taken two religious studies courses so far, and I found them so interesting and learned so much from them. I’ve studied ancient polytheistic religions, the Abrahamic religions, and new religious movements.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have more questions and want to learn more about my experience with teaching these subjects! I’m a very laidback teacher and am willing to work with you in the best way that works for you!
