Professionally, I’m a geoscientist with a bachelors degree in Geography and Environmental Science and a certificate in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS). One of the most important aspects of my job as a tutor was adapting my instructional approach to meet the diverse needs of the students. Since each student came in with varying levels of knowledge and skills, I had to quickly assess their understanding and adjust my explanations accordingly. Whether I was helping a student who was new to the subject or assisting someone with more advanced questions, I made sure to provide clear, personalized guidance. This experience taught me the value of flexibility and patience when teaching complex material.

I’ve tutored GIS for 3 years. In this role, I supported undergraduate students with their labs, projects, and homework, helping them navigate the complexities of the subject matter.
