I am a recent graduate from Samford University where I received a bachelors degree in Geography and Environmental Science and a certificate in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS). During my time at university, I worked as a lab assistant in a GIS lab twice a week. In this role, I supported undergraduate students with their labs, projects, and homework, helping them navigate the complexities of the subject matter. My duties involved guiding students through the software and providing explanations for concepts that were often difficult to grasp. This hands-on experience strengthened my understanding of the topics I was teaching while also allowing me to develop my teaching and problem-solving skills.

One of the most important aspects of my job as a tutor was adapting my instructional approach to meet the diverse needs of the students.
