Hello, my name is Candice, I am from Hong Kong, China. I was a senior accountant before I immigrated to U.S. last November and have over 8 years working experience in accounting and auditing in Hong Kong. I am a member of The Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA), The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and The Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA), I have double masters (MBA and MSc in Business Management) and a Bachelor degree in Accounting. I can speak both Mandarin and Cantonese fluently.
I worked as an Associated Accountant in a local CPA in Wisconsin Rapids during 2013 to 2015.
I like to be a tutor because I like to teach students and like to share my knowledge and experience with my students, I like to listen to my students what they really want me to teach and share with me. I have over 6 years part time teaching experience as a private tutor when I was a high school student and a college student in Hong Kong, most students I taught were from Grade 1 to 9, I mainly assisted students to complete their homework, prepared some tests to students before they had tests or examinations in school, I also reviewed the topic what students learnt and taught with examples if they had questions on the topic, like Maths, I demonstrated examples and taught them skills and methods how to find answers.
When I studied in United Kingdom, I took a part time interpreter for 1 year to help some Chinese whom could not speak English. I don’t have experience on teaching accounting, however, I have over 8-year experience in accounting, I am very confident that I can teach well and share my accounting knowledge and experience with my students.
I am energetic, friendly, funny, well-prepared, enthusiastic and patient person, I like to share with students, I like my students also to be energetic and like to learn what they are eager want to know.
