I hold a Master’s degree in Management & Leadership from Western Governors University, as well as an MBA from the same institution. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. Additionally, I am certified as a Histotechnologist (HTL) by the ASCP, a credential I have maintained since 2014. This solid educational background, coupled with my extensive professional experience in the field of histology, provides me with the knowledge and expertise necessary to tutor students preparing for the ASCP board exam.

In my current role as Histology Education Coordinator at Advocate Health, I oversee program development and teach histology techniques in both classroom and practical settings. I’ve spent several years mentoring and training staff, as well as leading educational programs designed to prepare students for clinical work. My experience includes developing and delivering tailored educational content, guiding students through complex histology procedures, and providing one-on-one instruction to ensure mastery of difficult concepts. I’ve also collaborated with faculty to enhance curriculum delivery, ensuring that learning objectives align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

I have a passion for teaching and have been actively involved in educating both professionals and students for over five years. My approach is student-centered, focusing on identifying each individual’s learning style and providing customized support.
