College student proficient in test/essay prep, math, and english

Hi! I'm currently a senior in college, enrolled in a competitive BS/MD program, which is an early admission pathway to medical school. I'm truly passionate about guiding students towards their academic aspirations, and I've dedicated the past six years to tutoring.

During my high school years, I provided peer tutoring and discovered effective ways to connect with younger students when teaching various subjects. My approach involves breaking down complex concepts into easily comprehensible steps, ensuring that my students remain engaged and enthusiastic. To date, I've individually tutored more than 30 students across different grades and diverse backgrounds. Notably, I've helped multiple students in improving their math grades from failing to B+/A-.

More recently, I've worked as a Supplemental Instructor and Academic Coach at my college, assisting in General Chemistry and Psychology.

Aside from core academic subjects, I'm also available to assist with SAT preparation. My own SAT scores reflect my proficiency, as I scored in the 99th percentile for both Math and English sections. With test prep, I was able to improve my own score by over 300 points. Due to going through this process myself (quite recently too!) I understand how to help students find and address the gaps in their knowledge.
