Hey there, future students! My name is Carolyn, and I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor's degree in Biology (including courses such as general biology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, ecology, animal behavior, research emphasis, biochemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and more!). I tutored college biology during my undergraduate career. I minored in Pre-Professional Health, and currently work as a Clinical Care Assistant.

While I didn't major or minor in Spanish, it's a passion of mine! I'm fairly fluent and have taken up to Spanish 4 at university, passing with all As. I am on the translation team for my church, and I help to translate individual conversations, teachings, books, and more! I would love to teach what I know and help you practice your newfound skills.

I'm also proficient in English, having taken many courses and serving as a college English tutor during my undergraduate career. Essays? Grammar? Literary analysis? No problem!

I've always had a passion for science, and I've tutored science at the college level. I understand how to break complex processes into simple steps and utilize mnemonics to help both memorize them and understand how they work in conjunction with other processes! I can also help give broad overviews of certain topics. My university GPA upon graduation was 3.97. I have strong communication skills and understand that patience is key--after all, I had to learn it once upon a time, too!
