About Jack

Bio

Hi, I’m Jack. I scored a 522 on the August 2024 MCAT, a 99th percentile rank score. My section scores were 132 Chem/Phys, 130 CARS, 129 Bio/Biochem, and 131 Psych/Soc. For context, a 522 is above the median MCAT score reported by many top medical schools, including Harvard Medical School’s recent median of 521. I recently self-studied full-time for three months, so I know what it takes to achieve top results efficiently using affordable resources instead of expensive prep courses. I’m based...

I’m based near Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in May 2025 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a 3.92 GPA, and I recently interviewed at MD programs during the 2025-2026 cycle. Through rigorous biochemistry coursework and peer teaching, I’ve helped classmates master challenging upper-level science concepts and strengthen their reasoning skills.

There are no true shortcuts to achieving a high MCAT score, and I won’t try to sell you any. Successfully studying for the MCAT takes serious time and effort. While no tutor can guarantee a specific score increase, I can help you study more efficiently, choose high-yield resources, and build a plan that fits your timeline and goals.

The MCAT prep world often pushes students to buy more than they need. I learned firsthand that smart planning and consistent effort with low-cost materials can outperform expensive prep courses. I believe that advising on how to plan your study schedule and what materials are actually worth paying for can be extremely valuable.

I know how overwhelming MCAT prep can feel, and my goal is to make the process clearer and more efficient for you. Whether you’re just beginning to study or trying to break through a full-length scoring plateau, I’d be excited to help you build a strong conceptual foundation, a sustainable study plan, and a realistic path toward your goal score.

Substantial score increase!

After taking the MCAT and scoring poorly the first time, I decided what I was doing wasn't working. I sought Jack's help to create a structured study plan using the method he used when he studied for the MCAT. His method is undeniably rigorous but the scores on my practice tests have increased by an average of 12 points. Working with Jack has given me confidence and the ability to perform well on the real MCAT. Following the completion of the MCAT, Jack continues to be of service by guiding me as I prepare to apply for medical school this cycle.
