Hi I am Gaby! I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education and a certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in May 2021. I also had the opportunity to study at La Universidad de Valladolid in Spain. My knowledge of the Spanish language has helped me to teach English to others.

I have been teaching for four years, with experience in various settings, including classroom environments and one-on-one tutoring. Most recently, I taught English learners in Pulaski Community School District and previously worked with adult students in Costa Rica. I have worked with students from kindergarten through high school with my primary focus being academic support while enriching their English language abilities.

In addition to my teaching, I am actively involved in community programs and activities, including serving as a Spanish interpreter for parent-teacher communications and coaching athletics at St. Thomas More. My goal is to foster a supportive and dynamic classroom where every student feels valued and empowered. Teaching is not just a profession for me; it is a passion that drives my commitment to nurturing minds and fostering a love for learning. I love what I do and make sure that the students do too!

Outside of teaching, I cherish my time with my fiancé and our baby, Clara. Family is incredibly important to me, and I enjoy spending quality moments with them. In my free time, I love to read, play guitar, spend time outside, and cheer on the Green Bay Packers. I am excited to meet you!
