During my years as a 4K-6 educator, I was a proud teacher to hundreds of children. I had great empathy for my learners who struggled academically. I volunteered many hours to children and families for extra support. My academic background includes a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from UW-Oshkosh (2006) and a masters degree in Educational Technology from Marian University (2011). I earned my lifetime Wisconsin teaching license in 2017.
In my current role, I guide educators along their path to becoming the best they can be for themselves as well as their students. I evaluate my team of teachers using various methods. I lead meetings with my team to set goals based on teaching standards, discuss behavior management techniques based on best practice, provide professional development sessions, and check in personally to build our relationship. I also work with children who have experienced trauma and help them be successful in their classrooms.
