Hello! My name is Evelyn and I'd love to be your tutor!

I was a First Grade teacher at St. John XXIII Catholic School, and I am currently teaching 3rd grade, further expanding my expertise across grade levels.
Throughout my career, I have developed and implemented effective reading and math curricula tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. I have adapted to various teaching environments, including hybrid and online settings during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has honed my skills in delivering engaging and interactive lessons remotely. I am committed to fostering a positive learning environment where students feel confident in their abilities and are encouraged to reach their full potential academically and personally. I am also pursuing a Reading Teacher 316 Licensure and a Master of Arts in Language and Literacy from Concordia University to further enhance my teaching skills.
