I am a recent (May 2017) graduate from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, emphasis in Biochemistry. I worked as chemistry tutor in the UWO Center for Academic Resources beginning in Spring 2013, and took on additional teaching responsibility as a Supplemental Instruction Leader in Fall 2013. I am passionate about chemistry, and I absolutely love working with students and helping them become independent learners.
During my time as a UWO student, I received multiple academic awards & scholarships in the areas of general chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and inorganic chemistry. I have four years of tutoring experience in chemistry, and three years of experience as a supplemental instruction leader.
