Hello! My name is Corinne, and I am currently pursuing dual degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education at the University of Wisconsin–Parkside. I am also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT2), working directly with children in autism services. Through my education and professional experience, I have developed strong skills in teaching, behavior support, communication, organization, and helping students learn in ways that work best for them. I am passionate about creating positive learning experiences and helping children build both confidence and independence. Over the past several years, I have worked with children in a variety of settings, including one-on-one therapy sessions, after-school programs, summer camps, church classrooms, and educational support environments. My experience includes working with elementary-aged students on academic skills, homework completion, organization, social skills, communication, and positive behavior strategies. As an RBT, I regularly collect data, implement individualized learning plans, and adapt my teaching approach to meet each child's unique needs. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and building strong relationships with students and families. My tutoring style is encouraging, engaging, and individualized. I believe every student is capable of success when given the right support and tools. Whether a student needs help with reading, homework, study skills, organization, elementary academics, or building confidence in their abilities, I strive to create a supportive environment where learning feels achievable and enjoyable. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them develop the confidence and skills they can carry with them long after our tutoring sessions.
