The D1 sporting schedule gave me lots of practice with balancing schoolwork and outside responsibilities. During the end of my time at college I switched to the Mathematics major and gained a semester's worth of experience as a student-teacher. This allowed me the opportunity to teach at a high school where I held multiple daily classes of Algebra 2 & Discrete Math.
I have tutored various levels of math in a one-on-one setting. I've primarily worked with students in high school and college, though I'm happy to learn alongside all age ranges. A particular focus of mine is ACT math prep, having scored a perfect 36 on the math section during my senior year of high school. I also achieved a score of 5 on the AP test for Calculus BC.
I have a passion for finding the right learning techniques that work for you as a student. I believe that anyone can master math concepts, it's just all about learning it YOUR way. I'm a big believer in making the material approachable, and that building confidence paves the way for future success.
