Hello students! My name is Mr. Ricardo and I am more than willing to help you with all your English Language Arts needs! I am currently teaching High School English, but I wanted another platform to promote my services and expand my teaching further than where I work.
My passion for teaching has never been in question. I've always wanted to promote the aesthetic of learning, that we learn for learning's sake regardless of the grade and that we enjoy the things we try to learn. Beyond this, I look to promote having a growth mindset, that we will continue to progress and that it is okay to fail, but we take those lessons to move forward and improve. My biggest joy is seeing my students improve and become better for themselves whether it is in school or life. I feel that is when I have accomplished my job as a teacher.
My undergraduate career in college was at Marquette University where I studied Secondary Education and English Language Arts. I was also accepted into the Accelerated Degree program at Marquette and received my Master's in Writing/Rhetoric Studies and Creative Writing in only an extra year! My knowledge with teaching literature and all different forms of writing is something that I want to share and help you all with.
Among my vast knowledge then, you will find my services useful for any reading tips, vocabulary comprehension, proofreading and helping revise papers, boosting public speaking confidence, and many other English related formats. My main goal is to get you to where you want to be and I will do all that I can to ensure your success in the classroom.
