I am a graduate of Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), the University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and I am currently completing my PhD in Nursing Science at the University of Washington. My education in these top-tier institutions has given me a deep and comprehensive understanding of pathophysiology, biology, and nutritional science, all of which have made me qualified to tutor in these subjects.
My passion for teaching is rooted in my lifelong commitment to education. My education in nursing and biology has allowed me to develop my ability to break down complex subjects to make them easy to understand for my students. Furthermore, I have a special passion for teaching students to think critically about the sciences subjects rather than memorizing the information. Whether it is a complicated process in biology or a complex theory in nursing, I always make sure that the students comprehend the subjects that we discuss in our classes.
While I am still in my PhD program, I have [mention any prior experience here, e.g., "worked as a nurse's aid in the hospital's intensive care unit" / "tutored science subjects in high school classrooms"]. During these periods, I was able to further gain experience in adapting my teaching methods to individual students' needs. I have experience teaching one-on-one, and I have always been able to tailor my lessons to use relatable and real world examples for challenging science concepts. I am committed to helping my students achieve their education goals.
