Hi! I am a freshman in college majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at MSOE, with a strong background in math and science. I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in their subjects and develop a strong foundation they can rely on moving forward in advanced classes. Math and science can feel overwhelming at times, so I focus on explaining concepts in a clear, approachable way that helps things really click.
I currently tutor college students in precalculus and Chemistry I, working one-on-one to review class material, preparing for exams, while strengthening their problem-solving skills. In the past, I have also tutored elementary and middle school students, helping them with foundational math and science concepts. I take a conversational, step-by-step approach to tutoring, making sure students understand why something works instead of just memorizing formulas or procedures.
I also have experience working with special needs students, particularly those with ADHD and other learning disabilities. I am patient, flexible, and willing to adjust my teaching style to fit each student’s needs. My goal is to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and gaining confidence in math and science. I am open to all ages, K-12 and College level, and have 4 years of experience.
