Hi, I’m Jordan— a certified English teacher with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. My tutoring is culturally affirming, especially for Black students who may not always see themselves represented in the texts they read or the voices they’re encouraged to write with. I specialize in reading comprehension, vocabulary development, written expression, and life skill integration—all with a personal, strengths-based approach. I believe in meeting students where they are, understanding their unique challenges, and using relatable, engaging materials to make literacy both relevant and enjoyable.
