I am a fourth-year medical student who graduated summa cum laude from Marquette University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Spanish. During my undergraduate years, I discovered a passion for education and mentorship, which inspired me to work as a Teaching Assistant for Anatomy and Physiology for over two years. This experience allowed me to help students master challenging concepts while honing my teaching and communication skills.

Throughout medical school, I have continued to pursue opportunities in education and curriculum development. My work has included integrating educational theory into medical training and designing case-based discussions for small learning communities. These experiences have deepened my understanding of effective teaching strategies and highlighted the importance of active engagement in learning.

I am passionate about evidence-based approaches to education, particularly active learning techniques such as guided questioning and spaced repetition. These strategies have been integral to my academic success, helping me consistently achieve my goals, including scoring in the 90th percentile on both my medical school entrance exam and board exams. I believe problem sets with detailed answer explanations are among the most effective ways to enhance understanding and improve performance, and I enjoy helping students apply these methods to achieve their desired outcomes.

I am deeply committed to supporting students of all ages in reaching their academic goals. My aim is to foster a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel empowered to tackle even the most complex topics with confidence.
