Hello! My name is Daniel, and I am currently a Diagnostic Radiology resident in the Midwest. I received my undergraduate degree in Physics at the University of Notre Dame, and my MD from Creighton University School of Medicine. I passed Step 1 on my first attempt and received a 258 on Step 2 (top quartile). Along the way, I discovered that one of my greatest passions lies in teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed academically and professionally.

I have extensive experience tutoring medical students for the USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 3 exams. I began by working with my peers, later expanding to private one-on-one tutoring with MD, DO, and IMG students. My approach emphasizes deep understanding of physiology and pathophysiology first, then layering on high-yield details and test-taking strategies. I focus on helping students see connections between topics, so that information becomes both more intuitive and easier to recall under exam pressure. My tutoring approach focuses on individualized programming, ensuring that each session is crafted to address your specific needs and strengths. Utilizing a systems-based approach, we will break complex concepts into manageable components, making the material more accessible and understandable. To elevate your study efficiency, I incorporate high-yield memory tools and mnemonic devices designed to enhance retention and recall, critical for success on your boards. Together we will develop effective test-taking strategies and review common pitfalls to improve your confidence and performance on exam day.

My goal as a tutor is to make sessions collaborative, supportive, and personalized. I work with students to identify their strengths, address their weaknesses, and build study plans that are both structured and realistic. I am proud to have helped students make significant improvements in their scores and perform to their maximum potential!
