I have my bachelor's degree in psychology, and a special interest in a variety of other subjects. I have volunteered as a Mentor and worked as a Special Education Teaching Assistant working with academically at-risk elementary school students. When working with students, I ask open-ended questions in an attempt to develop critical thinking skills, comprehensive listening skills, and encourage them to seek the answer themselves. I'm there to help them foster and develop learning skills, not give them the answers. These skills will aid them in their education and in life long after they've left our session.
