My name is Olena. I teach Russian, English as a Second Language and German.

Russian is my native language. I spoke it all my childhood, during my school and college years. Needless to say, I love the language and its culture. If you need to work on Russian pronunciation, grammar, conversational language, I'm here to help.
I also would love to teach German Grammar. German has been the love of my life since my childhood years. I studied it in college, have traveled to Germany a couple times. If you need help catching up with German Grammar at school, getting ready for college or traveling to German- speaking countries, I can assist with that,too.

I have taught English as a Second Language to elementary and middle school students in Ukrainian schools, as well as in private lessons with middle and high school students. I have lived some time in the US, so I can help with the American pronunciation and speaking English as a second language.

My lessons are geared towards developing mostly conversational skills, even though reading, writing and listening are a significant part of the process as well. I and my students speak a lot, using the new vocabulary and grammar that I taught them, to make sure they become active in our everyday speech. We make dialogs to practice new vocabulary in a simulation of real life situations. We read articles, retell and summarize them. I usually give some homework to practice what was learned in the lesson.

I would also teach German Grammar. German has been the love of my life since my childhood years. I studied it in college. If you need help catching up with it at school, getting ready for college or traveling to German- speaking countries, I can assist with that.
