My teaching career started in California. I then moved around from Chicago, Japan, Ireland, Australia, and finally back to the U.S. For the past 15 years I have taught at various schools around Milwaukee. I am very excited to have ended up at Roosevelt school after school program this school year. I have been married to my husbandfor 19 years, and together we have two daughters, one who is off to her freshman year at college, and one who is a junior in high school. We also have a pet rabbit, Ozzie, and a small orchard that my husband enjoys tending to. In my free time I enjoy taking leisurely walks, swimming at our local pool, and shopping for all sorts of things. In my classroom I teach with a strong emphasis on reading and literature, and I am extremely excited to share my love for books with my students.
I have a 316 reading license, and I have been a reading teacher at Hawthorne school.
