Since 2013 I’ve taught college classes at the University of Michigan and University of Wisconsin-Madison. I’ve taught in English literature and composition, comparative literature, digital studies, American culture, pre-med, and more! Working with me gives you the benefit of my deep insider understanding of what it takes to prepare for college and succeed as a college student. As an experienced teacher, I’ve developed really effective ways to support students as they improve their study skills, master the research process, and develop academic writing skills.

I have a PhD from UMich and an MA from UW-Madison—universities that are world-renowned for their research and teaching. I have a wealth of knowledge and resources to draw on to support you as an individual learner. I design personalized strategic plans to help you meet your academic goals, based on feedback about what’s working well for you and what could be working better.

I also have extensive experience working with neurodiverse students and students with learning disabilities. I love helping every student learn more about how to work with their brains and personal quirks rather than against them.
