I have many, many years of teaching children, as well as adults, in many areas; technical and creative. I use creative methods that meet the learning styles of my students. I will modify all my work to meets the goals of my students and classes.

I have more than 20 years of practical, experience working with most PC computer applications, especially Microsoft Office products. I have taught classes for more than 9 years at technical colleges and privately.

I've been supporting PCs, Windows and Outlook since it was introduced. I am familiar with the folder structure, creating personal folders, scheduling, calandar systems, as well as the task and to-do lists. I have assisted users in setting up searches, macros, reminders, meetings and organizational tasks.

I've been a photographer for over 20 years, in various forms; including casual, studio and wedding. I have worked for a photo studio and student photo business, as well as my own consumer and commercial photo studio. I teach by talking about the components of the camera, and terminology, especially in terms of how they affect the photo, i.e. a 2.8 aperture will create more bokeh, than a 5.6 (other conditions being equal). How does a histogram help evaluate a shot? After this area of discussion, I talk about the creative aspects of photography; lighting; the rule of thirds, etc. After that, editing and post processing; especially the use of RAW images versus jpeg. The use of Photoshop and printing.

I have owned a video production business for 12 years, handling all aspects of video production. I also have experience working at a television stations as Creative Director, being responsible for all aspects of video production. I am an independent film director, as well. I have 15 years experience with Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro, video editing software, and have produced a wide variety of video products, including corporate videos for companies such as: Coca-Cola Bottling, Parker-Hannifin, Oscar Mayer Foods, Kraft, Cardinal Health, Tailor-Made, Saint-Gobain, Flambeau Plastics, University of Wisconsin, UW-Credit Union.

I have been coaching and officiating volleyball since 1989. I have 12 years of high school and one year of college and club coaching experience as well as officiating at many levels of competition. I have experience with youth and developmental leagues, as well.
