Fantastic Tutor
Lei is fantastic at teaching all aspects of Chinese. She is adeptly teaches listening, speaking, reading, writing, and Chinese culture. She ties her knowledge of culture in with the language to make it much more human and relatable. I struggle with foreign languages, and Lei makes learning Chinese fun and feasible. She’s also really flexible when I am out of town for business. Overall I have been very satisfied with her tutoring services.

Excellent Tutor - Very Friendly & Easy to Work With
I am working with Lei Lei now to prep for the HSK-6 exam. Lei works with a wide range of students, and she has done a great job accommodating my advanced skill level. We have worked together to develop a plan for exam prep, and she was more than willing to take time after we met to critique my writing. Additionally, I have a hectic work schedule, and Lei was able to find some for us on the weekend that fit well with my schedule.

Lei has everything you could ask for from a tutor. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about what she is teaching, she is attentive to your specific needs. She is constantly alert to your strengths and weaknesses, and tailors her teaching and lesson planning to help you specifically. She is also very patient and flexible, and very good about maintaining strong communication.

Great Tutor, Very Helpful and Diligent!
Since studying with Lei, I've noticed significant improvement in my Mandarin skills. She took a lot of time at the beginning of our lessons to understand my goals and current level, so she's planned my lessons around these. During our classes, a lot of skills are incorporated: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. This has helped a lot as I feel I'm learning Chinese at an even rate, and not struggling in one of these areas. She's also helped me a lot by giving me homework for the week. She carefully thinks about what areas I've stumbled in during our lessons, and makes activities/assignments accordingly to help me improve. I'd recommend her to anyone looking to seriously improve their knowledge.

Logical and Efficient
Coming from a student of Chinese heritage, Lei does great job at connecting the gaps between my knowledge of Chinese grammar and English. The pacing of the lessons are not to fast and not to slow. Her examples are very easy to understand and differentiate various structure and underlying tones between the grammatical differences.

Lei L has shown a passion to establish a learning environment for my daughter to succeed and enjoy what she is learning. Going to Mandarin class for my six year old daughter is a high light of her week among the many other activities she has. Lei's interactive teaching with multiple prepared activities makes the 1.5 hr class fun and exciting. This teaching style has certainly been appreciated in the amount my daughter retains for the homework she looks forward to doing and launch into the next week's lesson.
