I am a mechanical engineering student transferring from Madison Area Technical College to the University of Wisconsin–Madison in fall 2026. I tutor subjects in which I earned an A with a final grade of 92% or higher, giving me both a strong academic foundation and firsthand familiarity with the material. Specifically, I specialize in all levels of algebra, calculus 1, 2, and 3, and linear algebra.
For the past year, I have worked as a peer tutor at Madison Area Technical College, helping students ranging from age 16 through middle adulthood in both one-on-one and group settings. In spring 2026, I was named Madison Area Technical College’s Outstanding Student Tutor of the Year. This award recognized my commitment to excellence, respect, integrity, and creating a welcoming environment for every student.
My goal is not simply to provide answers, but to help students identify gaps in their understanding and develop the reasoning and problem-solving skills needed to work independently. I use guiding questions, step-by-step explanations, and targeted practice while adjusting my pace and approach to each student’s needs. I believe lasting success comes from building the habits, strategies, and confidence that lead to positive outcomes long after a tutoring session ends.
