I am Morgan! I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology with a double major in Global Health from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My academic background includes extensive coursework in chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, physics, statistics, neurobiology, biology, disease biology and communication sciences, as well as a physiology capstone research project investigating the effects of exercise on visual acuity. In addition to my education, I have over four years of experience working in healthcare as an Anesthesia Technician, Student Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Diet Clerk, where I developed strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of STEM concepts and the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applicable way.

Additionally, I have two years of teaching and tutoring experience in Madrid, Spain, where I worked as an English Instructor in the public school system and as a private tutor for students. I taught primary and secondary students in both classroom and one-on-one settings, developing engaging lesson plans, presentations, and customized learning materials to meet each student's individual needs. I also prepared students for Cambridge English examinations, adapting my teaching style to different ages, learning abilities, and goals. My approach focuses on building confidence, making learning fun, encouraging critical thinking, and creating engaging lessons that are tailored to each student's learning style rather than relying solely on memorization.

I am qualified to tutor English as a Second Language (ESL) as well as STEM subjects, including biology, neurobiology, anatomy, psychology, chemistry, and organic chemistry. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students not only improve their grades and test performance but also develop a genuine understanding of the material and the confidence to apply it independently.

Approved Subjects

Chemistry

Chemistry

I received a score of 5 on the AP Chemistry exam and continued my chemistry education at the college level, completing advanced coursework including General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry. My strong foundation in chemistry has allowed me to understand both the underlying concepts and how they apply to more complex problems. When tutoring, I like to use visual explanations and walk through problems step-by-step so students can understand not just how to get the right answer, but why the process works. I aim to make challenging chemistry concepts feel more approachable and help students build confidence in solving problems independently.
ESL/ESOL

ESL/ESOL

I have over two years of experience teaching English in Spain through the NALCAP language assistant program, where I worked with students from diverse backgrounds and supported English language development in the classroom. This experience taught me how to make lessons engaging, explain language concepts clearly, and adapt my teaching approach to different ages, abilities, and learning styles. I also have a strong academic background, with bachelor’s degrees in Neurobiology and Global Health, which has strengthened my communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills. I enjoy creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing English, asking questions, and building confidence.
Neuroscience

Neuroscience

I have two bachelor’s degrees in Neurobiology and Global Health, with a strong academic background in biology, anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, chemistry, and other STEM subjects. My academic experience includes physiology research and a research-based capstone project, giving me experience with scientific literature, data analysis, and applying complex scientific concepts. I also have over four years of hands-on healthcare experience as an Anesthesia Technician, CNA, and Medical Assistant, allowing me to connect STEM concepts to real-world clinical applications. I’m passionate about breaking down difficult material into clear, approachable explanations and helping students build both their understanding and confidence in STEM subjects.
Psychology

Psychology

I received a score of 5 on the AP Psychology exam and have continued studying psychology through advanced college-level coursework. My academic background includes coursework in neuroscience, child development, education, and other subjects that explore human behavior, cognition, and development. My teaching approach uses case studies, real-world examples, and connections to human behavior to make complex psychological concepts more engaging, understandable, and memorable. I aim to help students build a strong understanding of psychology while developing the critical-thinking skills needed to succeed on exams and assignments.
