Hello! My name is Melodie, and I am a licensed special education teacher with experience supporting elementary and middle school students in reading, math, study skills, and executive functioning. I currently work with students who need individualized instruction, intervention support, accommodations, and confidence-building in the classroom.

I specialize in helping struggling learners, including students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and academic gaps. My teaching style is patient, supportive, structured, and relationship-focused. I believe students learn best when they feel safe asking questions and are encouraged through mistakes rather than embarrassed by them. I work hard to break concepts into manageable steps so students can experience success and build confidence over time.

I have experience teaching reading intervention, math intervention, classroom instruction, and one-on-one support. I use data-driven instruction and adapt lessons to fit each student’s learning style and needs. Whether your child needs homework help, intervention support, organizational strategies, or help catching up academically, I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported and capable.

I look forward to helping students grow academically while also building confidence and independence as learners.
