Andrea is a lifelong passionate reader and writer with a love of books and literature. Experienced in many creative outputs in journalism, radio talk shows, poetry readings, and publications. She's a former high school English teacher with a decade teaching civics at a non-profit (middle school through senior citizens) and secondary high school English in public schools and using International Baccalaureate English) in the United States. She spent one amazing year in Budapest as a Fulbright Exchange teacher (even studying the Hungarian language!). A long time student of writing, she studied at the Writers Studio in New York City for 15 years and taught there for one year. She's read poetry in diverse places including bar readings, the Nuyorican Poetry Cafe and the Woodstock Public library. She's experienced in classroom, small group, and one on one methods to bring out the best in her students.
