I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in both Computer Science and Russian. My academic experience combined technical training in software development, cloud platforms, and data systems with language proficiency and cultural competency. Throughout college, I worked extensively with tools like Azure, Snowflake, Flask, and Selenium, and gained hands-on experience through multiple internships and team-led software projects.
My teaching experience has been both formal and informal. At UW–Madison, I served as a mentor in multiple settings, including as an International Student Mentor and as a language mentor for the Russian Summer Program. In both roles, I supported learners of varying backgrounds by breaking down material into manageable pieces, encouraging engagement, and tailoring my explanations to their learning styles. I also led technical teams on university software projects, where I mentored team members through agile workflows, version control (GitLab/Bitbucket), and debugging practices.
My tutoring approach is collaborative—I believe students learn best when they're supported through questions and problem-solving rather than being handed answers. I like using visual aids, real-world analogies, and small working examples, especially when tutoring subjects like programming or linear algebra.
