I am currently a third-year undergraduate at Florida State University, where I am building on a solid foundation in math and physics that I established in high school. Graduating with full honors and excelling in advanced courses has deepened my passion for these subjects. I have extensive experience tutoring both classmates and younger learners, often volunteering with my school’s tutoring services. I’ve also gained over 100 hours of tutoring experience through different platforms, which has given me the chance to work with a wide range of students and learning styles. It is incredibly rewarding to help others grasp challenging concepts and watch their confidence grow.

Coaching youth soccer for the past four years has also been a fulfilling experience. This role has taught me the importance of patience and creativity as I work to engage players of varying skill levels. I enjoy finding new ways to connect with my students, both on and off the field. I have learned that effective teaching can take many forms, and I take pride in tailoring my approach to meet each individual’s needs.

I am well-prepared to tutor in subjects such as math, chemistry, physics, and statistics, and I strive to connect complex topics to real-life applications. My goal is to create an environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed. I believe learning should be an enjoyable process, and I’m committed to helping each of my students reach their academic goals.

Approved Subjects

Calculus

Calculus

I have a strong background in calculus, including limits, derivatives, integrals, and their real-world applications in physics and chemistry. I am familiar with all levels up to and including calculus 3. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind each step, so they’re not just memorizing rules but actually seeing how everything connects. My goal is to make calculus feel structured and manageable instead of confusing or intimidating.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I’m a Materials in Chemistry major with a strong foundation in chemistry, including General Chemistry I & II and lab coursework. I’m comfortable with topics like acids and bases, equilibrium, thermodynamics, and basic stoichiometry, and I focus on helping students understand the concepts behind the formulas. I’ve worked with high school and early college students, breaking problems down step by step so they feel less overwhelming. My goal is to help students build confidence and actually understand what they’re doing, not just memorize procedures.
Physics

Physics

I’m a Materials Science major with a minor in Physics at Florida State University. I’ve taken calculus-based physics courses covering mechanics, electricity and magnetism, and thermodynamics, and I focus on really understanding how and why things work. I have experience tutoring high school and early college students, and I’m good at breaking complicated problems into clear, manageable steps. My goal is to help students feel confident solving physics problems on their own.
