My academic background includes coursework in subjects such as general chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry, genetics, microbiology, physics, calculus, college algebra and more.
During my academic journey, I had the privilege of being accepted into the honors college. Professors in both the biology and mathematics departments recommended that I tutor other students and I was also selected by a professor in the honors college to become a peer mentor for incoming students. In this role, I provided guidance and support to new students, offering mini-lectures on college success strategies and voluntarily creating a comprehensive 20+ page guide to help students navigate the resources available on campus.
I am driven to tutor by my love for helping others. As a tutor, I’ve worked with diverse students, finding joy in their success. My favorite part of tutoring is seeing my students achieve their goals and realize their full potential. In particular, I am immensely proud to have helped students successfully gain admission to medical school!
Currently, offering online sessions, I customize each session to address specific needs. My tutoring philosophy centers on individualized support. I tailor my approach to each student’s learning style and challenges. Whether it's reviewing fundamental concepts, exploring complex topics in depth, or providing alternative explanations to aid understanding, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
