I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, though my academic journey began in Education, a path I followed for years before discovering that my true passion lay in the human connection side of learning and support. That background gives me a strong foundation in both child development and how people learn best at every stage of life.
My tutoring experience spans a wide range of learners. I’ve worked one-on-one with elementary-aged students (K–5) in my community across subjects including reading, writing, and math, helping young learners build confidence alongside their skills. I’ve also worked with adults, guiding them through computer literacy and technology basics in a patient, judgment-free environment.
What ties all of my experience together is my approach: I meet every learner where they are. I believe that encouragement and patience aren’t just nice to have, they’re essential to real progress. Whether I’m helping a second grader sound out a tricky word or showing an adult how to navigate a new program, I show up with the same warmth and commitment to making the experience feel safe and achievable.
I’m especially drawn to working with elementary-aged children, where I’ve seen firsthand how the right support at the right moment can completely change a child’s relationship with learning.
