I’ve been working with students one-on-one and in small groups for several years, focusing mainly on reading, writing, , and overall language skills. Most of the students I support are in elementary or middle school, and many of them come to me needing a little extra help building confidence in these areas. I meet them where they are — whether they’re struggling with reading fluency, spelling patterns, grammar, or writing full sentences — and we work together to build understanding step by step.
I currently tutor independently and also serve as a mentor/educator with Girls Inc. of Southeast Wisconsin, where I lead programs in local middle schools that focus on literacy, confidence building, and STEM-based learning. My sessions are always interactive, creative, and tailored to each student’s learning style. Whether we're using games, whiteboard challenges, or real-life writing prompts, I make sure lessons are engaging and supportive.
While I don’t hold a formal teaching license, I do have over five years of experience in professional writing, curriculum development, and educational support — and I’ve seen firsthand how much progress students can make when they’re given the right tools, encouragement, and space to learn at their own pace.
