My nature is to be helpful and share my knowledge with others.
It’s been my pleasure as one of the official SketchUp Help Forum Sages to have helped literally thousands of users improve their SketchUp 3D modeling skills.
My participation in the Help Forum continues to be a unique venue for me to teach and learn SketchUp.
Moreover, the experience has lent me a broad perspective on how to...

George knows SketchUp like the back of his hand and knows how to teach it
As someone who in the past was fairly proficient at AutoCad 2D and has a background in architecture, building and millwork I was having difficulty getting the hang of using SketchUp (SU) for producing construction drawings and millwork drawings. I bought the books and looked at lots of videos, but found that no one really went through the process from beginning to end in a concise manner. O chose George because of his credentials of having more hours tutoring SU than anyone on Wyzant and that he is a SU Sage. I found out quickly how good of a tutor that he is. I also learned that going through the process of generating a 3D model that will end up being a construction drawing encompasses many different factors in SU. You have to know how to work with Components, Scenes and Styles and other items as well as being able to draft in SU. In the past I would get stuck and be frustrated with my progress, but in a few sessions George has me going to the point that I am ready to submit my first drawing to building officials. I learned from George that sometimes I don't even know the question I should be asking, when it came to SU and it is not so simple as a couple of tools, but integrating many factors to get the results I need. This may make SU sound overwhelming, but I will tell you: If I can do it you can do it! George is the best choice out there for deep SU knowledge and he is also an excellent teacher with lots of patience.

Great Teacher
I learned more with George in two hours than I had in my previous two years of self-study. He’s an expert and has a remarkable ability to transfer his knowledge to even a novice like me. If you’re just starting out, save yourself a lot of time and frustration by taking a hour lesson from George.

It’s clear George has in-depth expertise in SketchUp
I’ve only had 2 lesson and I’m confident I’ll become more proficient with each lesson. I’ve already learned about components, the importance of grouping, creating faces, and importing drawings into SketchUp to save time. With George I’m certain I’m learning the proper way to create clean 3D renderings to build off of, and stay efficient.
