So you are stuck on a topic and can't make any progress? I feel your pain. In fact, I went to college twice! My strong points are science and Bible topics. There is also an historical side of life that fascinates me as well. So give me a chance and let's tackle those books together.
A typical session would include a few minutes of conversation just so we can relax and be informal. Then we hit the books. I can be very patient so if something is not clicking, we will just continue to work at it. My college degrees are in the teaching and pastoral fields. It is enjoyable for me to get to know my students as well as helping them.
To the Parents: I would be more than happy to meet with you as well as your student. This would probably make all of us more at ease.
