I am a Human Biology major with a Health Science emphasis and a Psychology major at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. I have completed all coursework for my B.S. in Human Biology, am continuing my education in Psychology, and will earn both degrees in May 2027. I am a high honors student, have been named to the Dean’s List all semesters, and have a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, psychology, and health sciences.

I am especially comfortable tutoring high school and AP Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, and Psychology, as well as college-level Introductory Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, General Chemistry I, Organic Chemistry I, and Introductory Psychology. I have also tutored students in high school chemistry, Algebra I, and biomedical science, and I serve as a peer mentor for pre-health high school and undergraduate students.

Additionally, I can provide pre-med and pre-health advising for students interested in medicine or other healthcare careers, including course planning, extracurriculars, research, volunteering, clinical experience, leadership, and study strategies.

My tutoring style focuses on making difficult courses feel more organized, manageable, and understandable. I was diagnosed with ADHD as a college senior, so I understand how frustrating it can be when traditional study methods do not work. I had to adapt, try different strategies, and learn how attention, organization, and executive functioning affect academic performance.

Instead of only helping students memorize information, I help them break concepts into clear steps, understand the “why” behind the material, and connect details to the bigger picture. My goal is to help students improve their grades, build confidence, and develop stronger study strategies they can use beyond one exam.

Approved Subjects

Anatomy

Anatomy

I have completed extensive anatomy-related coursework preparing for a career in surgery through my Human Biology and Health Science background, including completing Human Anatomy and Physiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab, Human Anatomy Cadaver Lab, Kinesiology, Kinesiology Lab, and Human Physiology Lab with strong performance. These courses have prepared me to help students understand anatomical terminology, tissues, organs, body systems, and the relationship between structure and function at both the classroom and lab level. Since anatomy can be memorization-heavy, I help students organize material into patterns, visual connections, and practical study strategies instead of relying on brute-force memorization. My goal is to help students feel more confident and prepared for lectures, quizzes, lab practicals, and exams.
Biology

Biology

I have a strong biology background through my Human Biology and Health Science training, including completing the following courses with A's: Principles of Biology: Cell/Molecular, Principles of Biology Lab, Cell Biology, Human Genetics, Microbiology, Microbiology Lab, Immunology, and Independent Study Research in Human Biology with strong performance. I also have research experience studying the effects of Echinacea purpurea extracts on superoxide anion production in HL-60 cells, which has strengthened my understanding of cell biology, immunology, experimental design, and data interpretation. I can help students understand biology topics such as cells, genetics, microbiology, immune function, and how biological systems connect across levels of organization. My tutoring style focuses on making biology more logical, organized, and easier to apply instead of just memorizing isolated terms.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I have completed Principles of Chemistry I and II, Chemistry Lab I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry Lab I and II, Biochemistry, and Laboratory Safety with strong performance as part of my Human Biology and pre-medical training. I also have organic chemistry research / immunology experience preparing Echinacea purpurea ethanol extracts through vacuum filtration, sample preparation, and lab-based experimental work. I can help students with general chemistry topics such as stoichiometry, bonding, reactions, acids and bases, equilibrium, thermodynamics, and lab concepts. My goal is to make chemistry feel less intimidating by breaking problems into clear steps and helping students understand the reasoning behind each calculation or concept.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

I serve as a peer mentor for pre-health high school and undergraduate students, where I help students navigate pre-med pathways, professional communication, and interview preparation. Through this role, I have experience helping students organize their experiences, explain their goals clearly, and feel more confident discussing their academic and professional interests. I also have over 15 years of pageant experience and have won four state titles, which has given me extensive practice with interviews, public speaking, confidence-building, stage presence, and answering questions clearly under pressure. In addition, I speak at organ and tissue donation events, where I use public speaking and personal advocacy to educate and connect with audiences. My goal is to help students build polished, authentic interview skills so they can communicate their strengths without sounding overly rehearsed.
Microbiology

Microbiology

I have a strong background in microbiology through my Human Biology and Health Science coursework, including earning A’s in Microbiology, Microbiology Lab, and Immunology. I am also currently involved in microbiology and immunology research studying how Echinacea purpurea extracts affect superoxide anion production in HL-60 cells, which has strengthened my understanding of immune cell function, experimental design, lab methods, and data interpretation. I can help students with topics such as bacterial structure and function, microbial growth, metabolism, genetics, host-pathogen interactions, immune responses, lab techniques, and how microbiology connects to human health. My tutoring style focuses on making difficult concepts more organized, logical, and easier to apply instead of just memorizing a long list of tiny organisms with attitude problems.
Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry

I have completed Organic Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry Lab I and II, Biochemistry, and Laboratory Safety with strong performance as part of my Human Biology and pre-medical training. I also have organic chemistry research experience preparing Echinacea purpurea ethanol extracts, performing vacuum filtration, handling samples, and following laboratory safety procedures. I can help students work through organic chemistry topics such as structure, bonding, functional groups, reaction patterns, mechanisms, stereochemistry, and lab concepts. My tutoring style focuses on helping students recognize patterns and understand why reactions happen instead of trying to memorize every reaction as a separate fact.
Physiology

Physiology

I have a strong physiology background through my Human Biology and Health Science training, including completing Human Anatomy and Physiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab, Human Physiology, Human Physiology Lab, Kinesiology, Kinesiology Lab, and Physiological Psychology with strong performance. These courses have prepared me to help students understand how body systems function, including cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, digestive, endocrine, nervous, muscular, and reproductive physiology. My tutoring style focuses on breaking mechanisms into clear cause-and-effect steps so students can understand what is happening, why it happens, and how different systems connect. I especially enjoy helping students move beyond memorization and build the kind of understanding needed for exams, lab work, and future health science courses.
Psychology

Psychology

I am pursuing a B.S. in Psychology alongside my B.S. in Human Biology, giving me a strong background in both behavioral science and biological science. I have completed Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Development, Physiological Psychology, Drugs and Behavior, Theories of Personality, and Sociology with strong performance. I can help students understand psychological theories, development, personality, behavior, brain-body connections, and how psychology applies to real human experiences. My tutoring style focuses on making concepts clear, organized, and easy to connect instead of treating psychology as a list of disconnected terms.
Study Skills

Study Skills

I am a high honors student at UW-Green Bay studying Human Biology and Psychology, and I have had to learn how to study in a way that is organized, realistic, and actually works. After being diagnosed with ADHD as a college senior, I had to completely rethink how I approached school, including attention, motivation, executive functioning, time management, and how to break overwhelming material into something manageable. Because of that, I understand both sides of studying: wanting to do well, but also needing systems that fit how your brain actually works. I help students build personalized study strategies using tools like active recall, spaced repetition, visual organization, practice questions, custom study guides, and realistic planning so they can feel more confident, less overwhelmed, and more in control of their classes.
