I've always had a flexible attitude in the Opening so we have a very broad range of possibilities, I'm sure we'll find the one that's right for you. The Middlegame can be quite tricky, many head spinning transformations can occur before we reach any kind of theoretical ending. This is why we will regularly go over typical middlegames together as well as frequently reviewing your games.
I've been very active in chess both as a competetor as well as a teacher for 10+ years. Additionally, I have run chess clubs, tournaments, and afterschool programs. I'm rated around 2100 chess.com/2050 USCF in longer time controls. Chess is my passion and I love to share it, I rank just under the master level and look forward to traveling the country and earning my title soon.
Chess is journey we're all just at different stages. My favorite thing about teaching it is sharing the experience together and seeing how their chess evolves.

I'm rated 2050 USCF, 2100 chess.com, 2250 lichess in longer time controls(Top 99%+). I've been teaching all manner of age groups and levels for almost a decade. Actively competing keeps me sharp. I've performed simuls and won tournaments. Additionally I've run chess clubs, tournaments, and afterschool programs. While the content of the lessons are structured, I pride myself on my ability to be flexible and to tailor lessons for each individual student. I look forward to meeting you! :)
